The recently released Mercedes-Benz Hyperscreen in the Mercedes-EQ lineup is as innovative as it is impressive, but that is not the only technological advancement that Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-EQ has up their sleeve. Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-EQ have teamed up with Unity Technologies to replace the existing MBUX Infotainment platform on all Mercedes-Benz models starting in 2024. The new replacement technology is called the Mercedes-Benz Operating System, or MB.OS. This collaboration will be a titan of pooled effort. Visual artists create incredible Real-Time 3D (RT3D) and Real-Time 2D (RT2D) content for mobile, tablets, PCs, consoles, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) devices. As previously stated, this is the first edition of electric luxury sedans from Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-EQ, receiving this award emphasizes a job well researched, designed, engineered and done! The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS from Mercedes-EQ is an innovative masterpiece with S-Class details on every inch of this electric vehicle. The luxuriousness and electromobility of this vehicle does not compromise power and agility. There even is an option to activate the self-opening door feature! With a maximum of 516 digital horses that can go 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, it is clear as to why the Robb Report decided to bestow the Best Electric Car for 2022 award upon Mercedes-EQ.   Versatility cannot only be found within the engine, but within the cargo space as well! This fully electric sedan has 22 cubic feet of cargo space and a whopping 63 cubic feet of storage with the rear seats folded downward! This third addition to the electric line-up adds versatility to the fleet as it is the first all-electric SUV from Mercedes-EQ. Aluminum Mercedes-Benz stars are fused into the high-quality ashwood, the Burmester Sound System is melded with Dolby Atmos, which can use the whole cabin space to create a 360-degree audio experience. The most obvious interior element is the MBUX hyperscreen, a 3-in-1 touchscreen that spans the entirety of the vehicle’s dashboard. If the hyperscreen doesn’t scratch your technology itch, there is also an option to add on two 11.6” displays in the rear of the vehicle for passengers. The wait is finally over!  The 2022 EQS from Mercedes-EQ has premiered around the world.  The 2022 EQS will be the first fully electric luxury sedan released by Mercedes-EQ. The 2022 EQS will be offered in both a rear-driver powertrain model which will be the 2022 EQS 450+ Sedan and an all-wheel-drive model which will be the 2022 EQS 580 (4MATIC®) Sedan.  Both models will feature highly advanced technology, top-of-the-line luxury, and peak performance. The 2022 EQS models will operate on an adaptive air suspension which means that the vehicle will automatically raise and lower itself allowing for a softer ride for passengers.  The standard rear-axle-steering will allow the driver to more easily maneuver the vehicle in tight spots and offer increased stability at higher speeds. Powered by a 107.8-kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the 2022 EQS models will have a driving range of approximately 478 miles.  Using a 240-volt (Level 2) charger, it will take approximately 11 hours and 15 minutes for the battery to charge from 10% to 100%.  The vehicle can also charge 70% in approximately 35 minutes using a DC fast charger. Not one single detail is spared when it comes to the interior of the 2022 EQS models.  The vehicle has so many luxurious features such as the extensive ambient lighting, headrest pillows for front and rear passengers, available massage functions, and so much more.  The most noticeable feature in the EQS is the Hyperscreen.  Composed of one single 56-inch piece of gently curved glass, the Hyperscreen revolutionizes infotainment with artificial intelligence and an adaptive display and operating system.  The Hyperscreen with the MBUX Infotainment System includes a 12.3-inch gauge cluster, 17.7-inch central touchscreen, and 12.3-inch passenger touchscreen. Finally the 2022 EQS will include the standard Mercedes-Benz driver-assistance technology such as the Parking Assist, Brake Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and so much more.
