Over 12 days, Mercedes-Benz USA will donate 12 all-electric eSprinter vans to selected nonprofits across the country - one van per day. The recipients are chosen by a group of brand ambassadors (including names like a major lifestyle icon and a prominent artist), each selecting a nonprofit to benefit from the donation. On September 22nd, from 11 AM to 2 PM, Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown threw a tailgate party that was a real game-changer! Fans of all ages came together for a day packed with exclusive event-only pricing, amazing giveaways, and mouthwatering BBQ from our local MVP, Up In Smoke BBQ ,Inc. The atmosphere was electric, and we couldn't have asked for a better Sunday to score some fantastic fun together! As we kicked off the festivities, our guests were treated to deals that were truly in the end zone. Whether you were in the market for a new eSprinter or just looking to snag some sweet swag, everyone was a winner! Our Sales Staff was on the field, ready to tackle any questions and help customers navigate through our lineup of luxury vehicles. The tastiest part of the day? The BBQ from Up in Smoke BBQ, Inc! With the smell of delicious meats wafting through the air, it was hard not to get hungry. Everyone agreed that the food was so good, it should have been a game-winning play! From pulled pork to ribs, the flavors were on point, and we could tell our guests were ready to feast like they were at the Super Bowl. And let’s not forget the giveaways! We had prizes that left everyone cheering, including genuine OEM merchandise and special offers that were harder to resist than a last-minute Hail Mary pass. Our guests were as excited as a fan catching a touchdown pass in the end zone! Overall, the eSprinter Tailgate event was a huge success, thank you endlessly to everyone who came out to join in the fun. We sold 5 new, 2 Pre-Owned and 2 Mercedes-Benz Vans on Sunday, for a total of 9 units ready to go the distance! Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown is thrilled that we were able to find homes for everyone! Everyone was definitely in good spirits and well fed; Your enthusiasm was the icing on the cake—or should we say the extra point after a touchdown? In this first-of-its-kind partnership, Goodr —a leader in waste management and hunger solutions—will utilize the all-new eSprinter from Mercedes-Benz Vans to expand its mission of fighting food waste and hunger across the U.S. Mercedes-Benz Vans USA delivered the first refrigerated eSprinter Cargo Van, custom-fitted by Thermo King of Charleston, to Goodr. This emission-free vehicle is perfectly aligned with Goodr’s vision of sustainably delivering surplus food to underserved communities. The eSprinter’s versatility makes it ideal for various industries, including urban logistics and food transport. With CO2-emission-free operation, enhanced connectivity, and impressive cargo capacity, the eSprinter is a game-changer in electric mobility. Founded in 2017, Goodr has built a reputation for utilizing technology to rescue surplus food and deliver it to those in need. Through their Surplus Food Recovery solution, Goodr diverted over 1.3 million pounds of waste from landfills last year, while preventing more than 700,000 pounds of carbon emissions.
