Nancy Buzzetta is a professional in Automotive Retail recently celebrating 30 years of work at the Competition Automotive Group (CAG), where she is a managing partner. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Prior to joining the family’s Automotive business, Nancy worked in the banking and accounting industries and earned her CPA certification from the Vermont State board of accountancy. Concurrent with her professional career, she has worked in pursuit of her other passions; wellness, fitness, equestrian sports, and animal welfare. Nancy enjoys an active role in the oversight of the CAG, which currently spans 5 franchised dealerships featuring the brands of Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter Vans, BMW, Subaru and Infiniti. The company employs more than 500 people on Long Island. When not at work, Nancy loves spending time at home with her husband, Pablo Triana, her children, and many pets including 6 rescue dogs! They love to travel and spend time in the great outdoors. She was born with a passion for horses and rides almost every morning. She is a competitive equestrian at the national level and competes at some of the largest and most prestigious shows in the country. She recently won a top 10 placing in a national championship class as well as earning multiple placings at the 2023 National Horse Show. In addition to her interest in helping animals, Nancy is involved with a number of other local organizations including Three Village School District’s Industry Advisory Board, Old Field Farm Ltd of Setauket, Celebrate St. James, Paws of War, and Pawsitive Possibilities dog and cat rescue; as well she serves on the Retailer Advisory Board for Subaru Distributors Corporation. Nancy and her team at CAG are working to decrease the company’s environmental footprint one step at a time. The CAG recycles almost all shop output and is working on an internal education program to help our team to minimize waste at the stores. The CAG has one solar array already working and is hoping to add to it in 2024. In addition, CAG participates in the One Tree Planted initiative. Nancy has long been a believer that the key to the continued success of the CAG relies heavily upon our reputation in the community, and is committed to provision of an outstanding client experience.

Mark’s journey in the automotive world began over 30 years ago, not behind a desk, but in the service bays — getting his hands dirty and learning the business from the ground up. It didn’t take long for his curiosity and drive to lead him to the sales floor, where he quickly discovered a passion for connecting with customers and helping them find the right vehicle. What started as a sales role quickly turned into something more. Mark’s ability to lead, inspire, and deliver results saw him rise through the ranks, stepping into one leadership role after another. Each position became a stepping stone, preparing him for his ultimate role as General Manager — where he now leads the entire dealership team with a clear vision, deep industry knowledge, and a commitment to customer care. When he’s not at the dealership, Mark values time at home with his wife, their family, and two energetic Goldendoodles who keep things lively.

I started 13 years ago as a lot attendant, moved up to a tow truck driver, then to sales. From there, I worked my way to Assistant Pre-Owned Manager, and eventually to Pre-Owned Manager. I’ve also served as both a New and Pre-Owned Floor Manager along the way. With that hands-on experience, I bring drive, expertise, and real passion to what I do. I’ve got a thing for fast cars, nice dinners out, and watching my kids play sports. I’m always pushing forward, focused on growing, and working my way to the top—one deal at a time.

Rich’s automotive career began in 1987 when he started as a technician. After many years of hard work, he was promoted to positions such as Shop Foreman, and Service Advisor. As he continued to gain more experience and knowledge, he was promoted to his current position of Service Manager! We are so proud and grateful for all of the years of dedication that he has put into Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown thus far, and can’t wait to see how he will continue to grow with us. Rich grew up in Holbrook, NY, and now has two wonderful children & one beautiful granddaughter. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, skiing, and riding motorcycles. Rich has been with the Mercedes-Benz brand since 1998 & couldn’t love it more. His favorite thing about his position is being able to help people with their vehicles when they are in need. Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown is proud to present Rob Picone, our incredible Assistant Service Manager. Rob has been within the automotive industry since 1996 and has been with our spectacular dealership in Smithtown, NY., since 2001! We are so honored that Rob has continued to call Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown his home for so many decades and we thank him endlessly for his dedication. With Rob celebrating his 22nd anniversary in November of 2023, his career at MBS is full of countless fond memories and inspiring first-hand experiences! Rob’s favorite part of his job is the relationships that he is able to cultivate with all of his clients year after year, lease after lease and purchase after purchase. After delivering #TheBestorNothing for over 22 years, we are thrilled that Rob has continued to flourish both professionally as well as interpersonally with the many friends he’s made along the way. In Rob’s spare time, he loves to play golf, ride his road bike, work in his yard and enjoy new restaurants! As a fellow Long Island resident, Rob also enjoys going to the beach with his family! Peter is an avid car enthusiast who has turned his lifelong passion for cars into a successful automotive career spanning over 20 years. He has worked for Mercedes Benz of Smithtown for 11 years. As a Sales & Leasing Consultant, he is responsible for providing his clients with an exceptional purchase experience and a strong focus on building long term relationships. Peter is an AMG® Performance Specialist who works hard to utilize his expertise in vehicle customization to match his client’s detailed requests. When he isn’t working, you’ll find Peter spending time with his wife Ashley and daughter Peyton. He enjoys cooking, traveling, golf and formula one racing.

Vikram Bedi is a Vehicle Exchange Specialist here at Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown. He has been a part of the #MBSmithtownFamily since 2024, and has been a wonderful addition to our team! Vikram is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu. He is excited to assist any customers that speak these languages find the Mercedes-Benz that they have been dreaming of! Fun Facts About Vikram: -Vikram loves to cook for his friends and family! -Vikram has two beautiful daughters. -Recently, Vikram has been working on finding a good work life balance. -Vikram also loves music, his favorite genre is classic rock. Coming from a legal background, Olaseni is an accomplished reputation manager. He has served as litigation and corporate counsel before moving on to work in various industries including telecommunications, aviation, power, oil & gas, and healthcare. Offering over 15-years of dynamic leadership experience in advocacy, government affairs and public policy, he specialized in developing strategies, narratives, and plans that aligned with his client’s goals helping them maintain a foremost position in their respective industries. He has a keen aptitude for developing long-term relationships with a diverse range of clients bolstered by a penchant for collaborative work, proactive communication, and inclusive leadership. He is married with two children and loves to write, read, draw, travel, and watch soccer. He enjoys working with young people and getting involved in charity projects. His favorite Mercedes-Benz is the boxy G 550, which conveys a sense of strength, security and yet graceful elegance. “To me, it evokes images of an iron fist in a velvet glove. I have experience in various positions, including sales consultant, BDC, BDC manager, and sales manager. I began my career in sales back in 1999 at Ford but took a break to focus on my family when my two sons were born. I returned to the industry in 2007. Since September 2022, I’ve been a sales consultant at MBS. What I enjoy most about my job is meeting new people and fostering long-term relationships. I’m truly passionate about selling what I believe to be the most luxurious and well-built cars. The brand’s emblem represents a statement of luxury, and I strive to ensure that each of my clients experiences that sense of elegance throughout their journey with me In my spare time I spend it with my sons, family and friends. Pilates and skiing are my favorite hobbies.

Erik is one of our wonderful Sales Consultants at Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown! From Holbrook, Erik has been in the automotive industry since 2011 and with the Mercedes-Benz brand since April of 2023! Kenny was born and raised in New York and has spent years living in Florida, Pennsylvania, and the Dominican Republic. He is bilingual in Spanish and English, allowing him to assist a diverse range of customers with ease. Through hard work and dedication, he has advanced in every position he’s held, eventually transitioning into the automotive industry in early 2021. Meet Carmen, one of our dedicated team members here at Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown. With eight years of experience in the automotive industry, she brings knowledge and passion from her previous roles at Honda and Toyota. Carmen loves staying active, whether she’s playing volleyball, hitting the gym, or doing a little shopping. She’s also fluent in Spanish, helping customers feel comfortable and understood throughout their visit. Her favorite car from the brand is the AMG® GT 63. Fun fact: she originally went to college to become a teacher! What she loves most about working here is how kind and helpful everyone is, making every day a positive and rewarding experience.

With over 46 years within the automotive industry, 24 years with Competition Automotive Group and 25 years with Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown, you can bet that Joe can always aid you when you stop by! Joe’s favorite part of his job is being able to build meaningful, fruitful relationships with our fabulous clients. I’m a Service Advisor at Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown, proudly serving our clients since 2017. I’m a car enthusiast who’s turned my passion into a career. For the past two years, I’ve worked as a service consultant at Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown, focused on client care and building long-term relationships. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife Pamela, daughter Lia, and my two dogs. In my spare time I still play hockey and enjoy watching and attending games.

Andy Selden is one of our many amazing Parts Advisors for Mercedes Benz of Smithtown. Andy has been within the automotive industry since 1987, with Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown since 1988 and it has been an immense honor for Andy to call our dealership home for over 3 decades! Andy’s favorite part of his job is working with the best cars on the road today, “There is nothing like a Mercedes-Benz!” Andy says! I’ve been with Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown for over 20 years, taking on a variety of roles throughout my career. Currently, I serve as the Inventory and Swap Coordinator, where I work closely with other dealerships to locate the vehicles our customers are looking for. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. A fun fact about me: I’m excited to become a first-time grandmother this fall!

With four years in the automotive industry – all proudly spent at Competition Automotive Group and Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown—I serve as the front desk sales receptionist and assist our General Managers. I truly enjoy interacting with customers and building positive relationships with both clients and coworkers. Outside of work, I love cooking, gardening, attending concerts and sporting events, and spending quality time with my family and church community.
