Mercedes-EQ Announces A New Addition To The Electric Lineup With The EQS SUV!

Mercedes-EQ has been busy in their C02-neutral factories; the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV will be ready for release in the second half of 2022! This third addition to the electric line-up adds versatility to the fleet as it is the first all-electric SUV from Mercedes-EQ. This very special electric SUV downloads the EQS sedan’s best traits and installs them into a spacious SUV package that sits up to 7 people. The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV will impress tech fans, music snobs, and the already established loyal fanbase. The EQS SUV embodies the pioneering spirit of Mercedes-Benz, every customer, new and old, will find their new favorite feature. 

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is innovative and futuristic from the exterior to the interior. The goal for the electric line-up is holistic digitalisation, connection and digital luxury. Mercedes-EQ has been working hard to strive toward these goals. The design of the EQS SUV has a closed, wind-tight design, a wind-proof spoke design and closed radiator cover, and a bodystyle that guides air around the vehicle as smoothly as possible. In addition to the wind-tight design, Mercedes-EQ has taken steps to reduce drag and maximize performance. The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV has increased speed and reduced drag by redesigning the tires and wheels, spoilers, running boards, and optimized the tread patterns. Drag was also reduced on the EQS SUV through aero-cladding. On the interior, luxury can be found anywhere, no matter where one looks. Aluminum Mercedes-Benz stars are fused into the high-quality ashwood, the Burmester Sound System is melded with Dolby Atmos, which can use the whole cabin space to create a 360-degree audio experience. The most obvious interior element is the MBUX hyperscreen, a 3-in-1 touchscreen that spans the entirety of the vehicle’s dashboard. If the hyperscreen doesn’t scratch your technology itch, there is also an option to add on two 11.6” displays in the rear of the vehicle for passengers. Although the interior is packed with innovative features, none are intrusive or distracting.Luxury can be found anywhere in the interior, but distractions can’t be! Mercedes-EQ boasts about the EQS SUV’s super quiet performance. The “off-road mode” is a unique mode where all passengers have a clear view of the beaten path, with the availability to see slope angles and inclination at real time.
