All New Mercedes-Benz EQC 400 is 100% Electric

Mercedes-Benz Media Newsroom USA shares with us new details and features in the all-new Mercedes-Benz EQC 400 4MATIC®, which is said to arrive in U.S. dealerships in early 2020. The EQC 400 is 100% electric power, torque and smoothness while still providing passengers with utmost comfort and confidence as seen in other Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

The EQC is designed with an all-new advanced drive system. Its system generates an output of 402 horsepower and a peak torque of 561 lb-ft.

The EQC is equipped with a lithium-ion battery that supplies the vehicle with power. The EQC charges its batteries when it is on the move. When coasting or braking, the mechanical rotation is converted into electrical energy which is used to charge the high-voltage battery.

Equipped with the multimedia system Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) as standard, the system can recommend the most efficient route for any trip, as well as finding available DC Fast Charging stations. Mercedes-Benz customers can also easily find charging stations and gain helpful access anytime with the Mercedes me Charge card, the Mercedes me App, or directly from the car.

At launch, there will be three tiers available for customers to choose between; Progressive, Premium, or Advanced.

Progressive

Standard features include DYNAMIC SELECT with EQ optimized drive modes, Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX), dual 10.25″ digital displays with touchscreen, Mercedes Me Charge with 3 years service included, 64-color ambient lighting with “EQC” illuminated door sills, Active Brake Assist, Car-to-X Communication and LED Intelligent Light System Headlamps with adaptive highbeam assist.

Premium

The Premium Tier builds upon the Progressive tier by adding the AMG® Line Exterior Package, Parking Assistance Package with 360 surround view, wireless charging, Natural Grain Wood Trim and Aero Package.

Advanced

The Advanced Tier offers the highest equipment level, including all Premium tier content, and also adds leather upholstery, heated outboard rear seats, ventilated front seats and the Driver Assistance Package.
