Nancy Buzzetta is a professional in the Automotive Retail field with over 20 years of experience in dealership management. She is managing partner and Vice President at the Competition Automotive Group based in Long Island, NY. Nancy has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Vermont, and also earned her CPA license in 1993.
Nancy plays an active role in the daily operations of the group, which currently has 5 franchised dealerships featuring the brands of Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter Vans, BMW, Subaru and Infiniti. The company employs 530 people on Long Island. In addition, she is continually focused on the future direction and expansion of the group. Her areas of expertise and involvement in the company include accounting, legal and tax matters, marketing, facility development, client and team relations, and more.
Her interests outside the dealership group center around her love for her family and friends, and also her compassion for animals, especially dogs and horses, and her interest in fitness, beauty, and wellness with a focus on anti-aging technology. She was involved in the fitness industry for over 15 years. She is an avid horse lover and equestrian, and owns a horse farm on Long Island. In addition to enjoying the company of her horses, she is a competitive rider, and along with her two daughters, can frequently be found competing at Nationally-recognized Horse Shows around the United States.
In addition to her interest in helping animals, Nancy is involved with a number of other local organizations and is currently a member of the Three Village School District’s Industry Advisory Board, which was created to help bridge the gap between faculty, students, and the business world. The board is proud to present this year its 2nd Career fair for students at the Junior High and High School level. She is also delighted to announce that Competition Subaru is a very proud supporter of Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, raising $100,000 in funds for its Pediatric Oncology center, with the help of the Subaru Cares Foundation. Nancy has also recently bean active with the Celebrate St. James organization to help raise funds for necessary improvements to the St. James Lake Avenue Business District.
