Mercedes- Benz of Smithtown is proud to announce their partnership with the McNamara Charity Golf Group. This fundraiser has been helping benefit veteran charities, veterans and their families for over 12 years. Many have experienced major financial setbacks with Covid in the last two years. This cause hits close to home for the strong veteran himself. Christopher T. McNamara has served in the U.S. Air Force. His family is deeply rooted through generations in the military service. Learning from his own experience as well as his family, McNamara knows how fortunate it is to make it home after being in service. Though this is something to be happy about, many come home with physical life changing injuries as well as invisible traumas that stay with them everyday that can’t be fixed with a cast like a broken arm. Internal Traumas that are life changing. Through this, it is common for many of these men and women to suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brian Injury (TBI). No one will ever know what these brave veterans have seen or experienced during their time in service. After their return many find it hard to come back to normal life or the life they once knew, without having memories or flashbacks of these traumatic times. This is the perfect opportunity to show your support for those that sacrificed so much for our freedom. Veterans have been provided with service dogs rescued from kill shelters. This is a great way to save two lives. The care for these precious pups is covered for life by mobile vans “Paws of War”. Disabled veterans are also provided with Action Trackchairs, which allow them the liberty of enjoying the outdoors and getting a bit of fresh a ir. Their strength and courage is inspirationally motivating. Throughout the last 10 outings, this organization has raised $600,000 for these indestructible veterans but we don’t plan on stopping there. On September 22nd, from 11 AM to 2 PM, Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown threw a tailgate party that was a real game-changer! Fans of all ages came together for a day packed with exclusive event-only pricing, amazing giveaways, and mouthwatering BBQ from our local MVP, Up In Smoke BBQ ,Inc. The atmosphere was electric, and we couldn't have asked for a better Sunday to score some fantastic fun together! As we kicked off the festivities, our guests were treated to deals that were truly in the end zone. Whether you were in the market for a new eSprinter or just looking to snag some sweet swag, everyone was a winner! Our Sales Staff was on the field, ready to tackle any questions and help customers navigate through our lineup of luxury vehicles. The tastiest part of the day? The BBQ from Up in Smoke BBQ, Inc! With the smell of delicious meats wafting through the air, it was hard not to get hungry. Everyone agreed that the food was so good, it should have been a game-winning play! From pulled pork to ribs, the flavors were on point, and we could tell our guests were ready to feast like they were at the Super Bowl. And let’s not forget the giveaways! We had prizes that left everyone cheering, including genuine OEM merchandise and special offers that were harder to resist than a last-minute Hail Mary pass. Our guests were as excited as a fan catching a touchdown pass in the end zone! Overall, the eSprinter Tailgate event was a huge success, thank you endlessly to everyone who came out to join in the fun. We sold 5 new, 2 Pre-Owned and 2 Mercedes-Benz Vans on Sunday, for a total of 9 units ready to go the distance! Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown is thrilled that we were able to find homes for everyone! Everyone was definitely in good spirits and well fed; Your enthusiasm was the icing on the cake—or should we say the extra point after a touchdown?
