The XF has modernized its Smartphone configuration but failed to improve the whole infotainment system. It is erratic and distracting so it is great that they do offer options for good driver aids.

Performance

The E-Class drives well thanks to its 255hp, 2.0-liter engine. It can be tame at city speeds but is also sporty once you drive it passionately. The steering is lightweight and precise and can respond very well even with small inputs.

The XF offers a number of engine choices including the supercharged V-6 for up to 380hp. While it is supposed to deliver more power, it is disappointing to see that it still lags behind from most of its rivals.

The Bottom Line

The 2021 Jaguar XF still needs to improve a lot of its characteristics before it can properly challenge other luxury cars. Its poor styling, tech, and performance only made the 2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class look even more tempting.
