When is my lease-end date?
Leases differ from person to person. The best way to confirm your exact lease-end date is to reach out to our team or refer to your lease agreement.
How many miles am I allowed per year?
Our leases typically run 10K, 12K, 15K, or 18K miles per year. Contact us or check your lease agreement for your specific mileage allowance.
What is the process for returning the vehicle?
Set up your lease-end appointment with our Vehicle Exchange Specialist about one month before your maturity date, and we’ll handle the rest.
Are there any fees for returning the vehicle late or with excess wear?
If you return at lease maturity, you are responsible for any past-due payments, unpaid fees, excess mileage, and excess wear and use, along with associated taxes and fees. Returning early adds any remaining payments to those charges. Review your lease agreement for full details, or contact Mercedes-Benz Financial Services at 1-800-654-6222.
Can I purchase the vehicle at the end of the lease?
Yes. You have the option to purchase your vehicle at the end of the term at its contracted residual value.
Are there special requirements for returning the vehicle, such as cleaning or maintenance?
Before returning, take a few minutes to complete your own Three-Point Inspection using the criteria in the lease-end guide sent to you 90 days before maturity. Leaseholders are responsible for keeping up with maintenance and repairs throughout the lease, and we recommend scheduling a pre-inspection with us to prepare. What if the vehicle is stolen or damaged before the end of the lease?
The leaseholder remains responsible for charges such as excess mileage and excess wear and use. In most cases, the leaseholder’s insurance covers the remaining payments or the vehicle payoff.
Can I return the vehicle early and terminate the lease?
If you return your vehicle before maturity, you are responsible for any past-due payments, unpaid fees, excess mileage, and excess wear and use, as well as the remaining payments, fees, and taxes associated with the end of your lease.
