Mercedes-Benz Vans Partners with Goodr Founder Jasmine Crowe-Houston as First-Ever Brand Ambassador for eSprinter!
At Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown, we’re excited to highlight a groundbreaking partnerships that combines sustainability, innovation, and social impact. Mercedes-Benz Vans USA has joined forces with Jasmine Crowe-Houston, the founder and CEO of Goodr, to introduce her as the first-ever eSprinter brand ambassador. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in promoting eco-friendly solutions for both transportation and hunger relief efforts.
In this first-of-its-kind partnership, Goodr—a leader in waste management and hunger solutions—will utilize the all-new eSprinter from Mercedes-Benz Vans to expand its mission of fighting food waste and hunger across the U.S. Mercedes-Benz Vans USA delivered the first refrigerated eSprinter Cargo Van, custom-fitted by Thermo King of Charleston, to Goodr. This emission-free vehicle is perfectly aligned with Goodr’s vision of sustainably delivering surplus food to underserved communities.
The eSprinter’s versatility makes it ideal for various industries, including urban logistics and food transport. With CO2-emission-free operation, enhanced connectivity, and impressive cargo capacity, the eSprinter is a game-changer in electric mobility.
Founded in 2017, Goodr has built a reputation for utilizing technology to rescue surplus food and deliver it to those in need. Through their Surplus Food Recovery solution, Goodr diverted over 1.3 million pounds of waste from landfills last year, while preventing more than 700,000 pounds of carbon emissions.
This exciting collaboration with Mercedes-Benz helps Goodr continue its mission to combat food insecurity while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions:
